Biography:
I would describe Lola Boo handmade bead and silver jewellery as ‘all brand new and shiny’. I love to use bright, vibrant, colourful beads and crystals for designs that will make people smile.
I have been making my own jewellery since I was in my early teens, and I’ve always enjoyed experimenting with different colours and designs. I’m still a bit of a magpie when it comes to choosing beads – the brighter and shiner the better! After starting out by making gifts for family and friends, it seemed like a natural progression to share my designs with other people. My greatest challenge so far was making all my own wedding jewellery; it had to be a perfect match for my perfect day!
I use the finest quality silver wire, glass beads and Swarovski crystals, accompanied by sterling silver findings and chains where possible. If I use acrylic beads I ensure that they retain the clarity and colour consistent across all of my designs.
As well as the designs shown here, I also take on commissions. From a variation on an existing design to something unique, if you have a particular idea in mind, or need some inspiration, I’d be happy to help.
